sails of my wandering heart.

Hi friends! Thank you for deciding to take the time to check out my blog! I started this blog first as a place to be able to document my first mission trip to the Dominican Republic back in July, 2016. Slowly afterwards, this transitioned into a blog of my journey with our sweet Savior Jesus. I’m also a lover of coffee, concerts, music, fashion, books, food, and adventures – so there may be posts of that as well.

The title “sails of my wandering heart” comes from a song by Hillsong United – Captain. I am a traveling/adventure-seeking/wanderlust girl at heart. But my heart also belongs to the Lord and I long for a life on mission for God. The first set of lyrics goes like this:

Through waters uncharted my soul will embark
I’ll follow Your voice straight into the dark
And if from the course You intend I depart
Speak to the sails of my wandering heart

These lyrics are constantly running through my mind and heart and speak so loudly to who I am and who I want to be. I strive and long to live a life that the Lord desires for me to live; completely surrendered to His design. And I hope to be able to always go where He calls me to go and do what He asks me to do. If I ever deter from the path He has me on, I ask that He “speak to the sails of my wandering heart”. I am far from perfect, and so I am so grateful to God for the grace that He gives me day in and day out as I strive to live a life that reflects Him.

I’m so excited to share with you all what the Lord puts on my heart! Thank you for your encouragement and emails are welcomed with open arms!

xoxo,

Tania

  1. I’m so excited to see how God uses you in the D.R. Tania! Praying God makes you fearless for His name. Praying Ephesians 6:19 for you and all those on mission trips this week. Have an incredible time. Love you 🙂
